My work often explores the intersection of content and experience through design. Across a range of media, I bring layered research, thoughtful ideas, and an elegant eye to my projects. I wholeheartedly believe that good design starts with strong relationships.
I freelance with small businesses as well as large companies including Kate Spade, Madewell, and other lifestyle brands. Prior to, I worked as a senior associate art director at Martha Stewart Weddings where I collaborated with talented folks to conceptualize + craft stories, art direct photo shoots, and obsess over typographic details. I’ve also worked alongside amazing Studiomates, co-created projects such as Nearly Impossible and Studio/Practice, and taught graphic design to undergrads at VCUarts.
In my downtime, I enjoy scouting lovely shops and restaurants, working on a handful of side projects, traveling, and entertaining with family and friends. My work has kindly been recognized by leading organizations, publications, and blogs including the Art Directors' Club, Dwell, Fast Company, Design*Sponge, Wired, the Webbys, HOW Magazine, and CNN.
