Lauren O’Neill is a creative director + multidisciplinary designer based in Los Angeles, California.

My work often explores the intersection of content, product, and experience through design.
Across a range of media, I bring layered research, thoughtful ideas, and an elegant eye to my projects. I wholeheartedly believe good design starts with strong relationships.

I work with small businesses as well as large companies including Madewell, Kate Spade, Domino, Bloomingdale’s, Color Factory, La Mercerie, Roman & Williams GUILD, Feather, West Elm, Sunday Suppers, STORY at Macy’s, Rifle Paper Co., Sugar Paper × Target, SuperHi, and other retail, restaurant, lifestyle, and startup brands. Prior to, I worked as a senior art director at Martha Stewart Weddings where I collaborated with talented folks to conceptualize + craft stories, art direct photo shoots, and obsess over typographic details. Along the way, I've worked alongside amazing creatives and Studiomates, co-created projects such as Nearly Impossible, and mentored and taught graphic design to undergrads at VCUarts.

In my downtime, I enjoy scouting lovely shops and restaurants, soaking up the sunshine, working on a handful of side projects, and entertaining with family and friends. My work has kindly been recognized by leading publications including DwellFast Company, The IndependentWIREDHOW Magazine, and CNN.

The details are not the details.
They make the design.
